Reindeer Run 5K – Run, Celebrate, and Make a Difference! This truly is a family-friendly event, and proceeds directly fund our Physical Activity Grant—helping to create more opportunities for people of all ages to stay active and healthy right here in Chatham County.

The Chatham County Partnership for Children is proud to support families with children under the age of five through direct services for families, coaching, technical assistance for childcare providers, and the promotion of healthy family activities throughout Chatham County.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

The Reindeer Run 5K is one of Pittsboro’s favorite traditions! Starting and finishing at Central Carolina Community College, the race winds through the beautiful campus, into historic downtown Pittsboro, and back again.

• USATF-sanctioned: Serious runners will love our course.
• Festive Atmosphere: Dress in your best holiday costumes to jog or walk.
• All Ages: A race suitable for all ages!
• Rudolph’s Fun Run: A special run for younger participants!

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Individual Overall: Highest achievers within the race.
• Individual Age Groups: Awards based on age demographics.
• Teams: Compete as an individual or as part of a team!
• Team Composition: Teams consist of five or more members, with specific rules for local school groups.

📋 Team Registration

You can register your entire team at once (using one credit card) or have team members register individually.

• Team Creation: Select “Teams” on the left and click “Register & Create a Team.”
• Event Selection: Choose “Team 5K” as your event.
• Individual Registration: Members can find the team by searching the team name under the “Team” button.

✨ Rudolph's Fun Run

This short, kid-friendly course (3/4 of a mile) stays on the CCCC campus. Participants will celebrate crossing the finish line with a medal presented by Rudolph and his helpers!

📅 Registration Details

We strongly encourage everyone to register online for the easiest experience. Shirts are guaranteed only to participants who register by November 21, 2025. After this date, shirt sizes cannot be exchanged or changed.
