Retriever 5k Dawg Chase and Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Whether you’re in it for some friendly competition or would rather stick with a group, this event’s emphasis is on camaraderie, bringing together all paces and styles.

📍 Race Details

• Routes: The 5k or 1 mile routes start and end at the Albin O. Kuhn Library.
• Pacing: The 1 mile route will be leisurely and casually paced (pet and family friendly).
• Check-in: Check-in time begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race/walk is at 8:30 a.m.

💰 Entry Fees

• Faculty, staff, alumni, and friends: $20 for ages 17+ (anyone under 17 must be accompanied and registered by an adult).
• Current UMBC students: $5.
• Family pack option: $50 (includes up to two adults 18 and over and any number of children).
• Race day fees: $25 for non-students, $10 for students, and $60 for a family pack (pending space).

👥 Participation Limit

Event is limited to 250 participants.
