Rock Springs Ramble

🌳 Support Local Natural Areas and Wildlife

The Rock Springs Ramble features a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-mile Run/Walk, the Rock Springs Ramble Challenge, and a 1/4 mile Kids' Fun Run!

• Fundraiser: Supports the Macon County Conservation Foundation.
• Programs: Funding for natural area restoration and educational programs at the Macon County Conservation District.
• Nature Center: Contributions benefit the Rock Springs Nature Center.
• Importance: Highlights the need for fresh air and space in nature.

🏅 Medals and Awards

By registering to run or walk, you support these natural areas and their wildlife. Current details include:

• Finisher's medal: Given to participants of the 5K and 1-mile Run/Walk.
• T-shirt: All participants receive a t-shirt.
• Wildlife rocks: Hand-painted awarded to top 3 finishers in 5-year age groups up to 70 and over.
• Kids' medals: Children registered for the Kids' Fun Run will receive a tree cookie medal.

📍 Race Details

Please note that the 5K and 1-mile Run/Walk will begin and end in the Rock Springs Nature Center parking lot, and the course will be on the paved Rock Springs-Fairview Bike Path.

• Challenge qualification: To qualify for the Rock Springs Ramble Challenge, participants must participate in both the 5K and the 1-mile.
• Registration fees: $35 for 5K Run/Walk, $35 for 1-mile Run/Walk, $65 for the Rock Springs Challenge, and $10 for the Kids' Fun Run.
• T-shirt and medal: Register by April 18th to receive T-shirt and finishers medal on race day.
• Registration: Online and race day registration available, closing online on May 16th at 1 pm.

📝 Race Packets

Race packets and race swag will be available beginning May 16th. Registered participants may pick up their items at their convenience from inside Rock Springs Nature Center, any time during Nature Center hours (8 am - 5 pm).
