📚 Rock, Paper, Run 5K Run/Walk

The Central Arkansas Library System and the North Little Rock Public Library System have partnered to create the Rock, Paper, Run 5K to celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month. This family fun run/walk 5K will connect the two library systems beginning in Little Rock, leaving from the steps of the CALS Main Library, 100 Rock Street, Little Rock and ending in North Little Rock at William F. Laman Library, 2801 Orange Street. Following the race, a Library Card Sign-up Cool Down party will take place at Laman Plaza. Runners and spectators are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book characters.

🚃 Trolley Service

• Service Hours: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Location: Free rides between Laman Library and Main Library

👕 Shirts and Registrations

• Pre-orders: Ends on August 16
• Day of Event: Limited number available

📦 Packet Pick-Up Details

• Location: Argenta Public Library, 420 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR
• Dates and Times: September 11-13, 10 AM - 6 PM
• Late Registrants: Pick-up on race morning from 7:00 a.m.

🕒 Chip Instructions

• Instructions: Tags should hang freely off the outside of EACH shoe on shoelaces. They should not be tucked inside the shoe or under the laces.
• Recycling: Place shoe tags in the provided tub near the finish line for recycling.

🏅 Medals and Awards

• Medal: 3D printed featuring the Rock Paper Run 5k logo
• Awards: Given for various age groups and top male/female racers

🎉 Fun Run/Walk and Party

• Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Cool Down Party: 10 am - 2 pm at Laman Plaza (More details coming soon)

📋 Registration and Race Guidelines

1. Refunds: No refunds, non-transferable entries
2. Race Modification: Organizers may modify/cancel due to conditions
3. Prohibited: No headphones, pets, littering, smoking, or alcohol consumption
4. Safety: Unregistered runners not allowed, notify officials if withdrawing
