Run or walk one or both CHASE RACE events!

CHASE RACE

2-MILE

• Event Type: Not only an AR Grand Prix Championship Race but a fun family event.
• Course Rules: Walkers & slower runners must yield to faster runners on course.
• Directions: All participants will be directed to right side of course streets.
• Dogs: No dogs in this one please!

PAWS RACE 1-Mile

• Event Type: For participants who want to run or walk with their leashed dog/pet.
• Fun for All: A fun event for dogs/pets of all breeds, ages, and sizes!
• Timing: The course will be gun timed (no start mat).

LOCATION

• Start/Finish: Both events start & finish at Simon Park, 805 Front Street, Downtown Conway, AR.

OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

• Best Pet Costume Contest: Judging and winners will be determined during the 1-Mile race.
• Animal Adoption Info: Local animal adoption agencies and organizations will provide information regarding their rescue as well as pets available for adoption.
• Sponsor Booths: Various sponsor booths with giveaways and information.

COURSES

• Course Type: The 2M & PAWS 1M courses are out & back, flat and fast with excellent traffic control & aid station.
• Event Management: An experienced team of organizers will make the event exciting and fun.
• Facilities: Restrooms available.
• Encouragement: We hope to see you at the starting line! Participants of all abilities, "ON YOUR MARK"!

Runner Amenities

• T-Shirt: Each participant will receive a souvenir T-shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size, you must register before MARCH 2nd.
• Goodie Bag: Participants will also receive an awesome "goodie" bag.
• Finisher Medal: Each finisher will receive an official Chase Race medal.

Race Results

• Posting: Race results will be posted on Garner Timing Services website.

REFRESHMENTS

• Available: Complimentary refreshments will be available for participants and their families on race day.

PACKET PICK-UP

• Early Options: Early packet pick up options- Compass Academy 225 Tilk Rd, Conway, AR Friday, March 13th, 9 AM- 6 PM or at race site on race morning, Saturday, March 14th beginning at 6:15 AM-7:45 AM.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE

• Directions: Take I-40 to exit 127, west on HWY 64 (Oak St) approx 1 mile to Front St., left (south) on Front, Simon Park is on the right.
• Parking: Parking is available at various lots 1-2 blocks away.

Awards

• Ceremony: Awards ceremony will follow all races. Awards are also available for pick up at Compass Academy the week following the race.
• Patience: Please be patient & courteous to all award recipients.

CHASE RACE 2-MILE

• Awards: Overall (3 male and 3 female), Masters (top 3 male and 3 female 40+ age group), Grand Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 50+ age group), Senior Masters (top 3 male and top 3 female 60+ age group).
• Age Group Awards: Male & Female 1st 5 finishers in each of the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+
• No Duplication: No duplication of awards.

CHASE RACE 2-MILE WALK

• Eligibility: Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 2-Mile Race.
• Awards: Given to 1st 5 Male and 1st 5 Female finishers as they cross the finish line. NO AGE GROUP AWARDS.
• Rule: Please remember, one foot must be touching the pavement at all times. WALKERS MUST WALK ENTIRE RACE, if caught running/sprinting/or jogging, will be disqualified!

PAWS RACE 1-MILE

• Pet Requirement: PET required event.
• Trophy: FIRST 10 participants to cross finish will receive a trophy (all others will receive a medal) and will be awarded at crossing of finish line. No age group awards.
• Costume Contest: Pets Best Costume Contest (5 Awards): Top 5 as determined by the Judges!! Pets must participate in the 1 Mile race to be eligible for an award. Winners will be chosen during the race.
• Awards Categories: Awards are-Most Pawsome, Best in Show, Outstanding Sportsmanship, Most Waggiest Welcome, Best Dressed, etc.
