Join us in celebrating Caitlin Yager's life and her love for running with this unique race! The 13th annual Run for Caitlin 5K and 3K will take place on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, at 9:00am at Canfield High School. The address for the school is: 100 Cardinal Drive, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
🎽 Registration Details
- Inclusions: Your registration includes a unique finisher medal, race swag bag, tickets for basket raffle, refreshments and a DJ!
- Optional Shirt: An optional specially designed dry-fit race shirt is available for purchase for $15. Shirt size guaranteed for those who register by JUNE 24, 2026.
- Early Registration: Be sure to register early to guarantee your shirt size! Swag bags only guaranteed to the first 200 pre-registered participants!
- Finishers Medal: ALL finishers receive a unique medal!
📅 Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up and registration take place at Second Sole in Boardman on Friday, July 24th from 11am-5pm and on race day at Canfield High School from 7:30am-8:45am.
🏃♂️ Course and Timing
GCXC Racing - Youngstown will provide certified courses, custom bib numbers, and a professionally chip-timed finish line.
🏆 Awards
- Top Finishers: Top three male and female finishers in the 3K and 5K will receive a special commemorative award.
- Age Groups: Top 5K male and female finisher in the following age groups will also receive an additional award: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Up.
🌐 Virtual Race Option
A virtual option is available for participants not comfortable racing in person. The virtual event takes place from July 1st through July 31st. You may run or walk your 5K or 3K distance in any location and submit your time to josh@gcxcracing.com.
💖 Proceeds
Proceeds go towards Run for Caitlin Inc., a nonprofit corporation that awards scholarships to deserving students.
