Run for Hope 5K

Race Overview

• Date: April 25, 2026
• Location: Charles Creek Park, Elizabeth City, NC
• Course: Enjoy a flat, scenic course through the Riverside Area of Elizabeth City with views of the Pasquotank River.
• Purpose: All proceeds from this event will provide services for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence through Albemarle Hopeline, Inc.

Mission

• Support: Hopeline has been serving survivors in northeast North Carolina for 40 years.

Registration

• Cost: $30 - Register online through 8:45am on race day!
• T-shirts: Participants who sign up by March 23rd can add a t-shirt for just $5!

Awards

• Categories: Overall male and female (first through third).
• Additional Awards: The top 2 male and female finishers in categories: Under 18, 18-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65+

Timing Information

• Timing Method: This race is manually timed by volunteers (NOT chip-timed).
• End of Timing: Race timing will end 45 minutes after the race start for medal awards.

• Check-in Start: Begins at 8am on race day.
• Check-in Deadline: Please check in by 8:45am to ensure a timely start!
