Run With The Turkeys Trot

DESCRIPTION

• Event: Join us for the 6th Annual Run With The Turkeys Trot 5K &: 10K walk/run.
• Start Times: 8:00am for the 10k and 8:15am for the 5k!
• Family Friendly: An event the whole family can enjoy: friendly dogs on leashes are WELCOME!
• Tradition: Make the run or walk a Family Tradition.

VIRTUAL OPTION

• Details: Join us virtually if you can't make the event. Complete the 5K or 10K at your pace.
• Result Submission: Submit virtual results through the 'Results' option on the website.
• Social Media: Post pictures on the DAR Facebook LIVE page.
• Packet Pickup: Each virtual runner must pick up their packet at one of the scheduled pickup times.

BENEFICIARY

• Community Partnership: Collaboration with Community Storehouse to benefit kids in Keller ISD and Northwest ISD.
• Food Insecurity: Affects 20% of children in Keller ISD and 25% in Northwest ISD.
• Contribution: Please bring 2-3 non-perishable items on race day.
• Support: Help your community while enjoying a day of fitness and fun.

WHAT YOU GET (RACE SWAG)

• Shirts: Each participant will receive a Long Sleeve Run With The Turkeys shirt in unisex sizes including children's sizing.
• Finishers Medal: All finishers will receive a commemorative medal.
• Participation: Join us to celebrate fitness and community spirit.
• Quality: High-quality race memorabilia to commemorate your participation.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Individual awards for overall male, female, masters, and grand masters.
• Age Group Awards: Three deep per age group (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, etc.).
• Timing: Awards are based on gun time for running events.
• Categories: Masters and Grand Masters awards for respective age ranges.

PACKET PICK UP

• Monday November 23, 2026: 12-6pm at Bear Creek Running Company, 121 Rufe Snow Dr, Unit 103, Keller, TX 76248.
• Tuesday November 24, 2026: 12-6pm at the same location.
• Wednesday November 25, 2026: 11-6pm at the same location.
• Race Day: 6:00-7:30am at Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX 76248.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

• Packet Pickup: 6:00am-7:30am (registered online).
• 10k Start: 8:00am.
• 5K Start: Timed 5K at 8:10am, Untimed 5K at 8:15am.
• Awards: 9:30am for 5k, 9:45am for 10k.

WEATHER POLICY

In the event of inclement weather, the start time may be delayed by up to 1 hour. If conditions become unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director. We appreciate your understanding of these policies.
