Race Description

• Invitation: We invite you to come spend some time with us as we enjoy a mid-June morning full of good cheer, a spirited 4K run/walk followed by a post-race shortcake and fun festival.
• Timing & Awards: The 4K will be officially timed with awards for Overall, Masters and Age Group winners.
• Participant Benefits: All participants will receive a free strawberry shortcake at the conclusion of their run for a job well done.
• Family-Friendly: This is a perfect event to introduce the younger members of your family into fun running activities.

Charity and Registration

• Beneficiary: The ShortcaKe 4K will benefit Sunshine Horses, Inc.
• Shirts: The first 280 registrants are guaranteed to receive a custom race shirt.
• Finisher Medals: All finishers are awarded a custom finisher medal.

Post-Race Activities

• Open House: Stick around after the race event for a fun filled day at the Sunshine Horses Open House.
• Activities: There will be vendors, riding demonstrations, food, raffle baskets, horses, and more!
• Community Engagement: Come out, meet Sunshine Horses and learn about our mission while enjoying a day with your family and friends!
