Race Description

We invite you to come spend some time with us as we enjoy a mid-June morning full of good cheer, a spirited 4K run/walk followed by a post-race shortcake and fun festival put on by our good friends at Sunshine Horses. The 4K will be officially timed with awards for Overall, Masters and Age Group winners. All participants will receive a free strawberry shortcake at the conclusion of their run for a job well done. This is a perfect event to introduce the younger members of your family into fun running activities.

Beneficiary and Awards

• Beneficiary: The ShortcaKe 4K will benefit Sunshine Horses, Inc.
• Shirts: The first 280 registrants are guaranteed to receive a custom race shirt.
• Medals: All finishers are awarded a custom finisher medal.

Post-Race Activities

Stick around after the race event for a fun filled day at the Sunshine Horses Open House. There will be vendors, riding demonstrations, food, raffle baskets, horses, and more! Come out, meet Sunshine Horses and learn about our mission while enjoying a day with your family and friends!
