Breaking The Sickle Cell Cycle Foundation, Inc. cordially invites you to the 6th Annual Sickle Cell Warrior Walk/Run 5K! The Sickle Cell Warrior Walk/Run 5K is an inspiring, family-friendly event to unite the Nashville community and surrounding areas in bringing awareness to sickle cell disease and to create long-lasting relationships to help support members of the sickle cell community. Sickle cell disease is a painful genetic blood disorder that is known to disproportionately impact minority populations, but any person can have sickle cell disease or carry the trait that is responsible for causing the disease. The goal of this event is to increase community awareness of sickle cell disease and empower individuals to make informed healthcare and family planning decisions. The Time is NOW to get involved and help break the cycle of sickle cell disease!

Event Details

• Date: September 26, 2026
• Location: 2801 Tucker Rd, Nashville, TN
• Start Time: 9 AM for 5K, 9:05 AM for 1 Mile
• Completion: All participants must complete the course by 10:00 AM

Post Race Celebration

Hang out and celebrate with us at the Post Race party where we'll have refreshments while we cheer and then our awards ceremony at 10:15 AM.

Commemorative Items

• Medal: Commemorative race medal available for paid registrants.
• T-shirt: T-shirt available for registrants who sign up by August 29th, 2026.

Award Categories

Awards will be given to the Top 5K finishers as follows:

• Overall:
  • 1st Place Overall (Male & Female) $150
  • 2nd Place Overall (Male & Female) $100
  • 3rd Place Overall (Male & Female) $50
• Age Group Categories: Presented to the 1st and 2nd place Male & Female finishers in each:
  • 16-19
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50+
