The South Shore Half Marathon is known for being a fun, affordable, early-spring race, and famous for its “ugly gloves”.

🛤️ Course Details

Course: Out & back on a paved recreational path along the beautiful Lake Michigan shore (park and lake views)

💵 Cost

• BLS Members: $30 through 1/31
• Non-Members: $40 through 1/31
• BLS Members: $40 from 2/1 to 4/3
• Non-Members: $50 from 2/1 to 4/3
• Race Day: $60 (No Cash Accepted, card only)

Perks (runners & volunteers): Ugly gloves and post-race party in the Pavilion.

⏰ Start Times

Think you’ll need more than 3 hours to finish? If so, we will have an early start at 8:15am for those thinking they’ll need more than 3 hours to finish. The remainder of the runners will begin at 9:00am. Nothing in between.
