Event Update

• Extra Runners: Thank you to the City of Suwanee and Police for allowing us an extra 100 runners. These extra runners will receive a previous year's sombrero, medal (with this year's ribbon), this year's shirt (up to the 04/12 cut off then first come first serve of previous year's shirt) - See pictures of previous year's swag options.
• SOLD OUT: The 2025 Tacos & Tequila 5k is officially SOLD OUT! You can still come and enjoy the Fiesta Festival with lots of music, sponsors, vendors, amazing food.
• Weather: Event is held rain or shine.
• Runner Cap: Race is capped at 800 runners.

Welcome to the 4th annual Tacos & Tequila 5k hosted by Performance Race Services at Suwanee Town Center!

Food and Drink

• Tacos: Beto's Tacos of Suwanee will be providing you with awesome authentic tacos, chips with salsa and Margaritas! (visit them at www.betostacos.com)
• Community Support: This race supports local Lawrenceville Co-Op who feeds over 350 families per week (visit them at www.lawrencevilleco-op.org) with a portion of your registration fee being donated.
• Generosity: Please also consider making either a $ donation during sign up or an item donation race day to help.
• Past Donations: Tacos & Tequila 5k with Performance Race Services along with your help has donated $15,000 to the Lawrenceville Co-Op over the past 3 years. THANK YOU!

SWAG

Runners who sign up before the shirt cut off will receive a blend t-shirt, and EVERY runner will receive a custom Tacos & Tequila 5k medal, 2 tacos, chips with salsa and 1 Margarita (or lemonade if under 21) from Beto's Tacos. *You can purchase more food or drinks if you like.

Plus you are going to get the coveted TNT Sombrero when you cross the finish line!

Guaranteed T-Shirt Cut off is 04/12/25. Once shirts are ordered, we will update the inventory in the registration site, if you are unable to choose the size you want, you can either choose a different size or First Come First Serve after the race to see if your size is available.

Top 3 Overall M and F finishers, Master Top 3 M and F along with top 3 M and F in the below age groups:

Also, Awards for the Best Costume, Doggie Costume and Best Mexican Grito scream.

Race Information

• Drink Band: Everyone who is 21 and over will be issued a drink band on race day with ID verification (Volunteers will put on) and the band MUST be worn to receive your drink after the race.
• Food Tickets: Your Bib will have TWO tear off tickets, one for your tacos and one for your drink. Please don’t lose them.
• Date: Saturday 05/03/2025
• Race Start Time: 11:00AM (course shuts down at 1:00PM) and the Fiesta part goes to 5:00PM.

Music/Fiesta start time at 9:00AM.

Start Location: In front of City Hall

Race Location: Suwanee Town Center - 330 Town Center Ave, Suwanee, GA 30024.

Early Packet Pick Up: Friday 05/02: Big Peach Running - Suwanee from 5 - 7PM.

Day of Race Packet Pick Up: Saturday 05/03: Starting at 9:30am at the Suwanee Town Center stage.

Restrooms: Located behind the stage in the park with additional portable bathrooms outside on the path.
