Description

• Event Purpose: A 5K walk/run to honor and celebrate the life of Aden Perry, our hero and now angel, this event commemorates Aden's final, most selfless and heroic act.
• Scholarship Presentation: This event marks the start of scholarship season, where we will present the 1st Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund college scholarship of the 2025-2026 school year.
• Scholarship Details: Scholarship awarded in honor of Ethan Lawrence to the 1st place overall male and female runner in the 15-19 age group.
• Race Venue: Great chipped, timed 5K course at the Amerant Bank Arena, home of the Florida Panthers.

Event Features

• Warm-up: Pre-event stretch/warm-up compliments of Outfit.
• Color Guard: Girl Scout color guard presentation.
• National Anthem: Live performance of the National Anthem.
• Entertainment: Live band and performances by XMGSMYTH and local high-school students.

Post Race Activities

• Refreshments: Post race refreshments will be provided.
• Candy Bar: A candy bar will be available for participants.
• Snow Cones: Enjoy refreshing snow cones after the race.
• CPR Training: Life saving CPR demonstration/training provided by Vidamed Inc.

Awards and Recognition

• Medals: Winner medals given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female overall, 1st place male and female masters, and 1st 3 male and female winners in each age group.
• Finisher Medals: Custom finisher medals to all participants.
• Race Shirts: Short sleeve dri-wick race shirts provided.
• Charity Collection: Collecting school supplies to be donated to kids in need.

Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund Accomplishments

• Awards: Aden was awarded the Carnegie Hero Award and received 2 medals of Valor.
• Community Impact: Proclamations for Aden Perry Day and multiple awards for works done in Aden's name.
• Support: Donated school supplies to over 2000 students and supported local charities.
• Ongoing Initiatives: Installed life rings along waterways, helping in water emergencies.

We are a 501C3 non-profit. 100% of all funds generated from this event go directly towards helping students on their academic journeys and supports the work done in Aden's name through the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund.
