Event Overview

• Purpose: To honor and celebrate the life of Aden Perry, our hero and now angel.
• Significance: Marks the day of Aden's final, most selfless and heroic act.
• Scholarship Introduction: Presentation of the 1st Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund College Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Honoree: Scholarship awarded in honor of Ethan Lawrence to the 1st place overall male and female runner in the 15-19 age group.

Race Details

• Course: Great chipped, timed 5K course at the AMERANT BANK ARENA, home of the Florida Panthers.
• Warm-Up: Pre-event stretch/warm-up compliments of Outfit.
• Performances: Features a Girl Scout color guard, live performance of the National Anthem, a live band, and performances by local high school students.
• DJ: There will be a live DJ to keep the energy upbeat.

Post-Race Activities

• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments available, including a candy bar and snow cones.
• CPR Training: Life saving CPR demonstration/training provided by VidaMed Inc.
• Awards: Winner medals given to top finishers in various categories including overall, masters, and age groups.
• Finisher Medals: Custom finisher medals to all participants.

Shirts and Donations

• Race Shirts: Short sleeve Dri-wick race shirts for all participants.
• School Supplies: Collecting school supplies to be donated to kids in need.

• Date: Thursday, April 9th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Location: Fresh Monkee, 13606 W. State Road 84, Davie, FL 33325.

Since "THAT NIGHT," so much has been accomplished through the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund:

• Honor: Aden was awarded the Carnegie Hero Award for his selfless heroic act.
• Valors: Aden received 2 medals of Valor.
• Proclamations: Received proclamations for Aden Perry Day in Broward County and Aden's hometown.
• Community Impact: Donated school supplies to over 2000 students in need.

501C3 Status

We are a 501C3 organization. 100% of all funds generated from this event will go directly towards helping students on their academic journeys and making all the work done in Aden's name possible through the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund.
