The Race To The Courthouse 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

Join us for the 8th annual RACE TO THE COURTHOUSE, the Martin County Bar Association's 5K run/walk on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Course Details

• Location: Martin County Courthouse (Gazebo Park - 80 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL)
• Scenic Course: Features parts of downtown Stuart.
• Family Friendly: Inviting to both competitive runners and walkers.
• Prizes: Awards based on age group and fastest law firm team, with a traveling trophy for the largest law firm team.

Eligibility and Awards

• Open to Everyone: This race is open to the entire community.
• Awards: Overall male and female winner, masters winners, and 1st to 3rd place in 5 year age groups.
• Age Groups: Includes categories from 10 and under to 80+.
• Team Registration: Does not require association with a law firm: all are welcome to form teams.

T-Shirt and Registration

• T-Shirts: Guaranteed to those who register prior to March 18, 2026.
• Registration Fees: $30 through March 18, $35 from March 19 to April 16, $45 after April 16 through race day.
• Discounts: $5 discount for premium members of Treasure Coast Running Club and student pricing of $20 for those 18 or under.

Timing and Packet Pickup

• Chip Timing: Provided by MCM Timing.
• Packet Pickup: On Friday, April 17, 2026, at Fleet Feet Stuart from 2pm - 6pm.
• Race Day Pickup: Available but highly discouraged: please aim for Friday pickup.
• Race Start: 7:30am sharp!

Virtual Race Option

Run your 5K ANY time, ANYWHERE! IMPORTANT! Your shirt and swag bag will NOT be mailed: they must be picked up at Zweben Law Group, 532 Colorado Avenue, Stuart, FL 34994 the week after the race.

Charity Support

Proceeds will benefit the Legal Aid Society of the Martin County Bar Association, Inc. providing free legal services and supporting the scholarship program.
