United Way 5k on the Runway

Event Overview

The United Way 5K on the Runway is perfect for participants ages 8 and older, who are able to complete 5K in 60 minutes or less.

Course Details

• Type: The course is flat and fast.
• Path: The course follows the taxiway parallel to the main runway.
• Participants: A 600-person limit and a 60-minute time limit for the event.

Date and Location

• Date: Scheduled to take flight on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
• Location: 982 Airport Road, Lynchburg, VA.
