George E. Wahlen, a Medal of Honor recipient from World War II, dedicated his life to serving his country and caring for fellow veterans. His legacy lives on through the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden, where veterans receive compassionate, high-quality care in a respectful and supportive environment. The home provides medical services, rehabilitation, and daily activities that honor the dignity and sacrifice of those who served.

Purpose of the Run

Join us for the Veterans Tribute Run in Marriott-Slaterville. This event brings our community together to honor our veterans and support their well-being. All proceeds benefit the Veterans Activity Fund, which provides entertainment, outings, and special programs that enrich the lives of residents at the Wahlen Veterans Home.
