About George E. Wahlen
George E. Wahlen, a Medal of Honor recipient from World War II, dedicated his life to serving his country and caring for fellow veterans. His legacy lives on through the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden, where veterans receive compassionate, high-quality care in a respectful and supportive environment. The home provides medical services, rehabilitation, and daily activities that honor the dignity and sacrifice of those who served.
Event Purpose
Join us for the Veterans Tribute Run to honor our veterans and support their well-being. All proceeds benefit the Veterans Activity Fund, which provides entertainment, outings, and special programs that enrich the lives of residents at the Wahlen Veterans Home.
Race Details
- Course: Fast and flat loop with a short out and back
- Start/Finish: First United Methodist Church
- Awards: Age group awards will be presented after the race
- Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided
