Woodfin 5K

The 10th Annual Woodfin 5K is Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM!

📅 Registration Details

• Packet Pickup: You can pick up your packet or register for the race on Friday afternoon, April 25, in the Woodfin Elementary cafeteria from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The school is located at 108 Elk Mountain Rd. in Woodfin. Exit 24 off of Highway 26.
• Race Day Registration: Raceday registration will also be available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

💰 Your Impact

Your Registration and Donations will make a real difference for the children we are educating at our terrific neighborhood school, Woodfin Elementary. Since 2014, the Woodfin 5K has raised more than $80,000 to support classrooms from Kindergarten through Grade 4.

🤝 Community Support

The 5K run/walk is hosted by the Woodfin Elementary School with support and coordination from the Woodfin Elementary School PTO, the Town of Woodfin, YMCA of WNC, New Life Community Church, Reynolds Mountain Homeowners Association, and many other fine community friends, sponsors, and volunteers.

💵 Entry Fees

• $20: The first 25 people to sign up using Code "Woodfin25"
• $25: Until 11:59 PM on March 31
• $32: April 1 - 25
• $36: April 26: Race Day

Kids 11 & under run free! Includes race t-shirt. (While FREE, please be sure each child is officially registered)

NOTE: After noon on Thursday, April 24, T-shirts are not guaranteed and/or may not be available in all sizes.

👥 Volunteer Information

Don't feel like running but still want to join the fun? We welcome you to Join the Volunteer Team. There are a bunch of pre-race projects and race day tasks we need help with - registration, course marshals, etc. The day starts at 7:00 am with breakfast and coffee in the WES cafeteria.
