🏊‍♀️ Race Overview

Columbus, GA has quickly become a Triathlon Mecca, offering various triathlons and duathlons for all levels of athletes.

The event features a down river swim, flat bike course, and scenic run course suitable for both beginners and advanced triathletes.

Participants can enjoy fun elements like starting with a water slide into the river and finishing with a water slide and splash pad at the finish line.

For those not keen on swimming, there's a unique Floatie Division with a 500m float, 12-mile bike, and 5k run.

📅 Event Details

Start Time:

7:30 am Sprint Triathlon

7:45 am Duathlon

Packet Pick-up:

Friday at Brickyard Bike Co from 4pm - 6:00pm

Saturday at transition from 5:30am - 7am

🏊‍♂️ The Swim

500m downstream: Athletes start the swim via a water slide or steps, entering depths of 4-6 ft in a controlled manner.

🚴‍♂️ The Bike

12 miles: The bike course starts and ends on the Columbus Riverwalk.

🏃‍♀️ The Run

3.1 miles: A flat 1-loop course with an aid station conveniently located for participants.

🏆 Awards

Categories: Age groups ranging from under 14 to 70+, with top 3 overall male/female and top 3 in each category.

Participants receive a medal and t-shirt, while triathletes are provided with a swim cap.

☀️ Weather & Refunds

In case of inclement weather, there are no rain dates. Race Management may adjust the course as needed for safety.

Refunds are not offered for races, but deferrals may be possible under exceptional circumstances.
