This course is located at Callaway Gardens event "FANTASY IN LIGHTS".
Important Deadline: 11/20 IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP TO BE GUARANTEED A TSHIRT AND MEDAL!!
⏰ Event Details
- Start Time: 4:45pm (No athletes will be permitted to start after 5pm!!)
- Course Features: The course will meander through all of the "Fantasy in Lights", is very easy and will be open to runners and walkers/strollers alike.
- Special Themes: This run course travels through the Callaway Gardens lit “FANTASY IN LIGHTS” and includes marshmallow, chocolate, and candy cane miles.
- Post-Race Fun: Stick around after the race for your picture with Santa!
- Categories: Male & female - 14-under - 15-19 in five-year increments up to 70+
- Awards: Top three in each age group
🗓️ Pre-Race Information
- Packet Pickup: Sunday from 2:00-4:30PM at Robin Lake Circus Tent
- Admission: Entrance into the gardens is free, spectators can drive through or trolley the light at an additional charge and need to book through Callaway.
- Mandatory Requirements: Note the 5pm start time, mandatory light requirement, and check-in time.
- Parking: Located at the Robin Beach parking area. ARRIVE EARLY.
💡 Safety & Course Conditions
- Safety Notes: It is MANDATORY to have some sort of light/glow stick/vest/flashlight/etc. for visibility.
- Dark Conditions: We suggest bringing a flashlight for the last mile of the course as it will be fairly dark.
- Course Management: The path will be lit for directional purposes.
- Inclement Weather: No rain dates, Race Management may change, eliminate parts of the course, or delay
📅 Race Day Logistics
- Finish Line: Located on the beach path beneath the pavilion.
- Awards Ceremony: Begin at approximately 6:45-7pm.
- Hotel Accommodations: Callaway Gardens offers a discount rate on accommodations for participants. Call 1-877-916-1725 and ask for "Fitness Series" rate.
