5K Race Overview

Looking for a fun race with big payoff in a short distance? The Man O’ War Trail 5K is the perfect way to kick off your morning in Pine Mountain, GA. This course brings you onto the Man O’ War Trail for a fast, scenic run surrounded by trees, fresh air, and just enough terrain to keep it interesting.

Whether you’re walking, jogging, running with friends, or trying to set a new personal best, this 5K is built for everyone. Come enjoy a beautiful route, a great crowd, and a finish you’ll feel good about.

Event Details and Schedule

• Start Time: Half-Marathon at approximately 8 AM. The cut off for the Half is 4 hours. 5K will start at approximately 8:15.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pick up will take place at the baseball field in Pine Mountain on Saturday (race morning) from 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM.
• Late Registration: Athletes can register for late registration at either packet pick up. The cost is $95.
• Aid Stations: 4-5 aid stations along the half course approximately 1.5-2 miles apart.

Awards and Accommodations

• Awards: Awards to top 3 finishers in the 5K and Half Marathon. Overall Male/Female 3 deep, age groups for awards.
• Finisher Medals: All participants will receive finisher medals.
• Hotel Accommodations: There are several hotels in the Pine Mountain area as well as AirBnbs.
• Directions: From Atlanta take I-85 south to I-185, exit 42 (Hwy 27). Go left on Hwy 27 to Pine Mountain.
