Brickyard Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon

Join us for the Brickyard Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon on August 8, 2026, at 801 Front Ave, Columbus, GA. The TriCity Area has quickly become a Triathlon Mecca, offering a variety of races from long distances to sprints, including duathlons and adventure races. The 4-6ft downriver swims, fast bike course, and scenic run course make it ideal for both beginners and advanced triathletes. Sprint races should be fun and fast!

Event Details and Schedule

• Start Time:
  • 7:30am - Sprint Triathlon
  • 7:45am - Duathlon
• Packet Pick-up: T-shirts are not guaranteed for those who register on race day or race week.
• Friday Pick-up: Brickyard Bike Co, 507 Dillingham St, Phenix City, AL from 4pm - 6:00pm
• Saturday Pick-up: Transition area from 5:30am - 7:00am

Course Information

• The Swim: 500m downstream. River depths of approximately 4-6 ft. All entries down the water slide must be feet first, or steps to the water edge are permitted after crossing the timing mat.
• The Bike: 10 miles - fast and flat out-and-back course starting and ending on Brickyard Road.
• The Run: 3.1 miles - flat one-loop course with an aid station approximately 200 yds out of transition, passed twice.
• Awards: Categories for Male/Female: Under 14 and then in 5-year increments up to 70+. Top 3 overall Male/Female and top 3 in age group.

• Finisher Perks: Each participant receives a medal, t-shirt, and triathletes will be provided a swim cap.

Weather and Refund Policy

• Weather: In case of inclement weather, there are no rain dates. Race Management may modify the course or cancel the event if hazardous conditions arise.
• Refund Policy: No refunds are offered for races. Under extreme circumstances, you may contact tricolumbusga@gmail.com to see if a deferral is possible.
