💖 Join Us for the Fourth Annual I Love CVE Fun Run!

🕘 Arrival: Zelie Park at 9:00 AM

🏁 Race Begins at 9:30 AM

🎉 Event Overview

• Experience: On a rainy Saturday in April 2022 nearly 500 students, parents, and community members joined us for our first ever I love CVE Fun Run!
• Route: This year we welcome you to join your CVE community for the FOURTH annual I love CVE Fun Run, starting and finishing at Zelie Park.
• Celebration: We will finish at Zelie Park with food trucks and a post race celebration!
• Registration: We ask that all participants register and sign a waiver. Parents, grandparents, students, and siblings are all welcome!

👕 Participant Perks

• T-shirt & Bib: All participants will receive a t-shirt and bib!
• Medals: Kids will receive a finishing medal, and we invite CVE students to wear their medals to school on Monday, April 28th!
• Special Celebration: We are still working hard to make this event special, with more details to come!
• Volunteer: If you are interested in adding to the fun, please reach out!

❤️ Why 1.43?

• Fred Rogers’ Legacy: Mr. Fred Rogers was a visionary who authentically taught kindness, compassion, inclusion, empathy, and integrity.
• Code of Love: 143 is Mr. Rogers' code for I (1 letter) love (4 letters) you (3 letters), and he is dear to our CVE community.
• School Philosophy: His philosophy, including 143, has been woven into the fabric of our school.
• Join Us: We hope you will join us in carrying his spirit into the 1.43 Fun Run/Walk Because We Love CVE! Bee Kind, Have Fun, Let’s Run!
