RUN CHA 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

This year's run will be held at Shelter #4 at the Hubert Fry Center. 4301 Amnicola Hwy. 35.096789, -85.252634. We will still be using the same flat and fast course and starting in our original location.

📍 Race Route

• Starting Point: We will start at Shelter #4.
• Course Direction: Run toward the Dam and back down the riverwalk.
• Distance: A flat and fast 5K.
• Race Map: View the race map.

💧 Aid Stations

• Water Station: We will have a water station approximately half way into the race.

🎉 Global Running Day

Global Running Day is our holiday: a celebration of the activity we love and the sport that brings our community together. We’re inviting all runners and walkers to join us on Saturday, June 7th to mark the occasion, set a goal and cross the finish line.

Once again this year we are partnering with RUN RHINO for our timing and race management.

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Date: Packet Pick-up will be at Fleet Feet on Friday, May 29th from 3-7pm.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Saturday, June 7th from 6:45am - 7:45am at Start/Finish.
• Race Start: 8:00am, Race will start promptly at 8am.
• Important: Packet Pick-up will close at 7:45 AM. No delays for late arrivals.

💰 Race Fees

• Entry Fee: $30 early entry (Price increases will follow, TBD).
• Race Shirts: Unisex, high tech tri-blend.
• Registration Close: Online registration will close June 7th at 11:59pm or when full.
• Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds or transfers.

📅 Race Schedule

• Fri, June 6th: 3pm - 7pm, Packet Pick up at Fleet Feet (307 Manufacturers Rd).
• Saturday, June 7th: 6:45am - 7:45am, Packet Pick Up at Start/Finish.
• Race Start: 8:00am.
• Note: If you're in town, please make every effort to visit Packet Pick-up on Friday.

🏆 Award Categories

• Overall Awards: 1st - 3rd Male & Female Overall.
• Age Group Awards: 1st - 3rd in every 5 year age group: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-65, 65-69, 70 & over.
