WeCare-Mother's Day 5K

💖 Event Overview

• Date: May 10, 2026
• Time: Race kicks off at 9am. Sign-in and warm up starting at 8am.
• Location: Brookfield High School, Brookfield, CT
• Beneficiary: Presented by Brookfield High School's National Honor Society ∼ Supporting ________________TBD! Beneficiary announced in the spring.

🏃 Race Features

• Certification: Certified 5K USATF course
• Timing: chip timing
• Swag: T-shirts to first 100 registrants
• Refreshments: Available for participants

📝 Registration Information

• Cost: $30 per person. Register up to 10 runners at a time to save on processing fees.
• Teams: Teams are welcome! Runners must enter together as a team, pay as individuals. (Teams not eligible for individual awards.)
• Deadline: Registration closes May 6 at 12:00 noon.
• On-site Registration: In-person, race-day registration starting at 8:15AM ($35)

💌 Donations

• Accepted: Donations are gratefully accepted by contacting the race director

🏆 Awards

• Overall Female: 1st place
• Overall Male: 1st place
• Trophy: Awarded for first place for each team: Mother/Daughter, Grandmother/Granddaughter, Mother/Son, Grandmother/Grandson
• Ribbons: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for male and female in each of 9 age groups: 8 and under: 9-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79
