Race Overview
A welcoming, inclusive race morning for all ages and fitness levels in support of women’s health. Join us for a Kids Fun Run, 1 Mile Walk, and timed 5K Run/Walk at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. Follow Natural Fitness Run for Women’s Health 5K.
- Awareness Month: May is a month of awareness for both Women’s Health and Mental Health.
- Event Purpose: This event is not just about running, it’s about honoring strength, prioritizing well-being, and creating space for both physical and mental health within our community.

- Fun Run Start Time: 8:45 AM
- 5K Start Time: 9:00 AM
- Community-Centered: Join us for the Follow Natural Fitness Run for Women’s Health 5K, a community-centered event created to celebrate movement, health, and support for women’s wellness.
- Family Friendly: Whether you are coming to race the 5K, enjoy the 1 Mile Walk, or bring your children to participate in the fun run, this morning is about community, connection, and showing up for a meaningful cause.
Participation Options
- 5K Participation: Participants in the 5K may choose to run or walk the course.
- 1 Mile Walk: The 1 Mile Walk is untimed and open to all experience levels.
- Strollers: Strollers are welcome.
Awards
Awards will be presented to:
- Top Finishers: Top Male and Female
- Age Groups: 1st place in each age group
- 1 Mile Walk: The 1 Mile Walk is untimed and does not include awards.
Event Schedule
- 7:30 AM: On-site check-in and bib pickup opens
- 8:45 AM: Check-in and bib pickup closes
- 8:45 AM: Kids Fun Run begins
- 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk begins
9:45 AM – Approximate awards presentation for 5K
Important Notes
- Stroller Policy: Strollers are welcome.
- 5K Timing: The 5K is timed and participants may run or walk.
- 1 Mile Walk Timing: The 1 Mile Walk is untimed.
- Registration: All participants must register in advance, including children.
