Thank you all for your support of our past events and charity causes. We are preparing for another record-breaking crowd for 2026!
Presented by Moneco Advisors - all proceeds will be donated to the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund & The Fairfield Police Foundation. You can run (3.1 miles) or walk (.8 mile) course.
2ND ANNUAL SOCK IT TO SUMMER DRIVE
- Objective: Bring New White Socks • Spread Comfort • Lift Up Our Neighbors
- Request: We’re inviting all attendees to bring NEW white socks to donate at the event.
- Need for Socks: They are the #1 most requested item by shelters and a simple, powerful way to offer comfort and empowerment to our neighbors in need.
- Beneficiary: All sock donations will benefit Nourish Bridgeport (nOURish BPT).

About Nourish Bridgeport
- Mission: Nourish Bridgeport provides compassion, stability, and support to the community.
- Super Food Pantry: Distributing groceries and essentials to over 3,000 neighbors weekly.
- Feel the Warmth Supper: Delivering hot meals and fresh produce weekly to over 250 people.
- Indoor Hydroponic Farm: Growing fresh produce to fight food deserts across the region.
Event Highlights
Get ready for the best night of the summer! We invite all abilities to run or walk our 3.1 mile scenic & flat course or walk our .8 mile course. Starting on Ffld Beach Rd & ending at Jennings Beach, this summer spectacular will include:
- T-shirts: Included for all participants.
- Food truck rodeo: Enjoy a variety of food options.
- Kids' activities: Treats and fun for the little ones.
- Adult libations: Available for those of age.
Registration Information
- First 200 Registrants: $35 for all ages in the 5K.
- Registrants 201-600: $40 for all ages in the 5K.
- Registrants 601-1000: $45 for all ages in the 5K.
- 8/10 Mile Untimed Walk: $35 flat fee, all ages.
Event Schedule
- March 8: Registration opens.
- June 12: Shirt size guarantee ends.
- July 13: Early bib/shirt pickup at Marathon Sports.
- July 15: Bib/shirt pickup at Jennings Beach from 4:45 pm - 6:15 pm.
Race Day Highlights
- 6:20 pm: Introduction & National Anthem.
- 6:30 pm: Start of timed 5k & untimed .8 mile walk.
- 7:00 pm: Awards ceremony for top finishers at Star 99.9 tent.
Awards and Recognition
- Top Finishers: Prizes awarded for top three men and women.
- Age Group Awards: Medals to top 3 in various age categories.
- Result Notifications: Participants can opt-in to receive results via text.
- Non-competitive Walk: No awards for the .8 mile walk.
Participation Notes
REMINDER: Paid participants in the 5K and .8 mile events are welcome to enjoy post-event food and fluids as part of their registration fee.
Family or friends can purchase a food ticket for $20.00.
Location Details
The Jennings Beach area is scenic, quiet, and surrounded by a welcoming neighborhood of supporters. Ample parking will be available. Parking for race participants will not require a beach sticker for non-residents.
