🏃♂️ First Responder 5K Overview
Join us for Cobb County's 4th Annual First Responder 5k! Walk, jog, or run- in person, or virtual. This event is for all fitness levels and we have some GREAT prizes!
👨🚒 Family-Friendly Activities
- First Responder Vehicles: Explore various first responder vehicles and displays.
- Field Games: Enjoy fun field games with The Atlanta Braves mascot, Blooper.
- Performance: Watch a performance by the Braves Heavy Hitters!
- Sign-Up: Run to Help Those, Who Run to Help You!
👕 Registration Details
- New This Year: Registration price includes a long sleeve shirt.
- Qualifier: This event is a qualifier for the PeachTree Road Race!
- Welcome: Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome!
- Age Divisions: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in multiple age divisions.
🎁 Top Fundraiser Prizes
- Create a Fundraising Page: Click the arrow next to "Donate" on the race website and select "Become a Fundraiser."
- Share: Spread the word about your page to friends.
- Win Prizes: The top 3 fundraisers will win prizes!
- Agency Tour: Winners can choose a first responder agency for a personalized tour.
📅 Event Details
- Opening Ceremony: Begins at 8:00 a.m. with a special honor guard presentation.
- Run/Walk Start Time: Expected at 8:20 a.m., immediately following the opening ceremony.
- Awards: Medals awarded to top 3 finishers at approximately 9:30 a.m.
- Course Information: The course is hilly, and water stations will be available.
📦 Packet Pickup
- Prior to Race Day: Packet pickup on Thursday, November 13th, and Friday, November 14th from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Location: Cobb County Animal Control at 1060 Al Bishop Drive SW, Marietta 30008.
- Race Day: Packet pickup available at the registration tent starting at 6:30 a.m.
💻 Virtual Participants
All virtual t-shirts will be mailed after the race. Times for the virtual race can be uploaded on the results page from race day (November 15th) until the following Sunday (November 23rd) at 11:59 PM. An email with instructions to upload times will be sent out on November 15th for all virtual participants.
