First Responder 5k Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Join the Race!

Join us for Cobb County's 4th Annual First Responder 5k! Walk, jog, or run- in person, or virtual. This event is for all fitness levels and we have some GREAT prizes!

🎉 Family-Friendly Fun!

• Activities: This family-friendly event will include first responder vehicles and displays, field games with The Atlanta Braves Blooper, and a performance from the Braves Heavy Hitters!
• Sign-Up: Sign-up today and Run to Help Those, Who Run to Help You!

👕 Registration Details

• Shirt: New this year - registration price includes a long sleeve shirt.
• Deadline: Must register by July 15th to guarantee t-shirt size.
• Qualifier: This Event is a Qualifier for the PeachTree Road Race!
• Pets: Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome!

🥇 Awards & Prizes

• Medals: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the following age divisions.
• Fundraising: Become a Fundraiser: the top 3 will earn prizes and tours with first responder agencies.
• Details: Agencies to choose from include Cobb Police, Cobb Sheriff, Cobb 911, Cobb Animal Control, Cobb Emergency Management, and Cobb Fire.

📅 Event Details

• Ceremony: Opening ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp with a special honor guard presentation and a performance from the Heavy Hitter Band.
• Start Time: Official start time for the run/walk is expected at 8:20 a.m.
• Awards: Medals for top 3 finishers at approximately 9:30 a.m.
• Activities: On-site activities include First responder vehicles, Atlanta Braves mascot, family lawn games, and water fountain/spray ground.

📍 Parking Information

SELF PARKING at The Battery- On non-event days parking in the Red, Green, Yellow and Purple Decks is free for the first 2 hours.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Prior to Race Day: Packet pickup on Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Cobb County Animal Control.
• Race Day: Packet pickup available at the registration tent beginning at 6:30 a.m.

🌐 Virtual Participants

All virtual t-shirts will be mailed after the race. Times for the virtual race can be uploaded on the results page from race day (November 15th) until the following Sunday (November 23rd) at 11:59PM. An email with instructions to upload times will be sent out on November 15th for all virtual participants.
