2024 Dog Days Run Walk

🐾 Event Overview

• Date: June 14, 2024
• Location: Kamper Park (parking lot next to the Hattiesburg Zoo Pavilion), Hattiesburg, MS
• Events: 5 Mile, 5K, or 2 Mile
• Support: Proceeds benefit Hub City Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

• Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Route: Scenic Avenues of Hattiesburg
• Volunteers: Support from community volunteers and Hub City Service Dogs clients
• Finish Line Festival: Celebrate with vendors, refreshments, and entertainment

🐶 Canine Participation

• Health Check: Ensure your dog is healthy and condition-ready
• Routes: 2 mile and 5K are pup-friendly
• Water Stations: Provided for both runners and dogs
• Leash Policy: All dogs must be leashed with fixed leashes (no retractable leashes)

🥇 Awards and Festivities

• Finisher Medals: All participants receive a Limited Edition custom finisher medal
• Top Ten Big Dogs: Awards for the fastest finishers
• Run-by Dog Pageant: Compete in various fun categories
• Event T-shirt: Limited edition for those registered before cutoff date (TBA)

📦 Packet Pickup

• Friday: 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Keg and Barrel, 1315 Hardy Street
• Saturday: 6:00-7:00 a.m. at Kamper Park near the start line
