Join Wilton Pride and Wilton Library for the Third Annual Come Out & Run 5K celebrating PRIDE, diversity, inclusivity, and the spirit of unity in honor of National Coming Out Day.

• Community Event: Family friendly, pet friendly activities
• For Everyone: Runners, Walkers, Kids, Strollers, and Leashed Dogs are welcome

Participation Details

• Free Entry: Kids under 10 participate for free, but still need to register
• Giveaways: All 5K participants will receive a giveaway, digital race photos, post race festivities, and more!
• Awards: Gift baskets for top 3 adult and kid runners
• Prizes: 1st to 3rd for adults and kids based on age categories

New This Year: The Stiletto Dash!

We will be kicking off the day at 8:30 AM with a spirited, 30-yard dash on the Wilton Town Green right before the 5K!

• Eligibility: Must be registered for the 5K
• Age Requirement: Must be 18+ years
• Heel Requirement: Heels must be at least 3 inches tall for the competition
• Pride Attire: Dress in Pride attire for preferred placement

Rules of the Runway

• Registration: Must be registered for the 5K
• Age: Must be 18+ years of age
• Stilettos Only: Wedge or block-style heels are not permitted
• Pro-Tip: Taping your heels to your feet is highly encouraged

Pride Best Dressed Contest

Dress To Impress! Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Best Embodiment of PRIDE: $15 Rise Doughnut Gift Card
• Best Use of Color: $15 Classically Cate Gift Card
• Most Creative Use of Flare: $15 Signature Style Gift Card

Packet Pickup

• Pre-Race: Friday, September 18 from 3:00 PM to 5 PM & Saturday, September 19 10:00 AM to noon at Wilton Library
• Day Of: 7:45 - 8:45 AM at Wilton Green
• Packet Collection: Someone else may pick up your packet for you
• Shipping: Packets will not be shipped

Race Day Timeline

• 7:45 AM: Packet pick-up and race day registration
• 8:30 AM: The Stiletto Dash!
• 8:45 AM: Burn Boot Camp pre-race warm up and dance
• 9:00 AM: 5K Race starts

Race Day Logistics

• Arrival: We suggest arriving no later than 8:15 AM
• Restrooms: Available at Wilton Library beginning at 7:45 AM
• Parking: Allow enough time to park and get to the start
• Post Race: Snacks and refreshments on the Green for all participants

Parking & Drop-Offs

There will be ample parking around Wilton Town Center. If you will be getting dropped off, please get dropped off at Wilton Library.
