🐾 Event Overview

• Location: Ashley Park, Newnan, GA
• Event: Fido Fest 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
• Organizer: Hearts 'n Homes Rescue and Ashley Park Newnan

🎉 Event Highlights

• New Addition: The "Puppy Prance" is our newly added Tot Trot to kick off the festivities at 8 am (no registration needed).
• Fun Run: The 1 mile Fun Run begins at 8:15 am and is not timed—great for the pups and kiddos!
• 5K Race: Starts at 8:30 am: chip timing is provided.
• Qualification: Fido Fest 5K is now a certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event!

🌭 Post-Race Celebration

• Activities: Stick around for food trucks, vendors, and entertainment for all!
• Proceeds: All proceeds will go to Hearts 'n Homes Rescue.
• Organization: Hearts 'n Homes Rescue is an all volunteer 501 (c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs and puppies most at risk for euthanasia in Coweta County.
• Tax Deductible: All donations are tax deductible.

🐕 Dog Policy

• Dog Participation: Well-behaved and vaccinated dogs are welcome! No more than 2 dogs per human preferred.
• Clean Up: Please pick up after your pet. Water and waste bags will be available for use.

📝 Registration Information

• Early Registration: Early race registration is suggested to guarantee a race shirt. Same-day registration kiosks will be available.
• School Award: A participation award will be given to the school with the highest number of registrants! List your school name after your last name when registering.
