Race 4 Freedom 5K Run/Walk

Race Overview

The 15th annual Race for Freedom is a 5K run/walk organized by ICT S.O.S. to benefit the fight against human trafficking. This year's Race for Freedom will be an in-person and virtual event on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, and will benefit ICT S.O.S.

Achievements

• Years of Impact: In our first 14 years with this event, we have raised over $300,000.
• Supported Agencies: Helped support 9 local direct service agencies in Wichita.
• Facility Improvements: Funds have been used to improve facilities and provide additional services.
• Future Support: All funds received in the future will be used for the same initiatives.

Current Initiatives

• Awareness Programs: Beginning in 2021, funds have supported the Not Alone: Exploitation Awareness educational programming.
• Advocacy Services: Funds also support Advocacy Services through ICT SOS.
• Community Assistance: Fresh Start bags provided to the community.
• Need for Action: The need to stop human trafficking in Wichita is greater than ever.
