Event Location

• Venue: Holmdel Park – 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel, NJ
• Starting line: By the main shelter across from the farm
• Finish line: In the field across from the main shelter parking lot

RACE SCHEDULE

• 8:00 AM: Bib pick-up (Packet pick-up will be available for coaches)
• 9:00 AM: 400M (Grade K & younger, co-ed)
• 9:05 AM: 800M (Grades 1 & 2, co-ed)
• 9:15 AM: 2K (Grades 3 & 4, co-ed)
• 9:30 AM: 3K (Grades 5 & 6, co-ed)
• 9:45 AM: 4K/5K (Grades 7 & 8+, co-ed)

REGISTRATION

• Pre-registration: Please try to pre-register before arriving at the park, as there is limited service, making on-site registration difficult.

RACE INFORMATION

• Distances: Competition available at 400M, 800M, 2K, 3K, and 4K.
• Awards: The top 10 of each race get a ribbon.
• Team scoring: 3 runners to make a team and score.
• Registration close: Each week, registration will close 24 hours before the start time.
• Championship: Awards and medals will be given out on October 26 - Championship Sunday.

CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY

• Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
• Location: Holmdel Park
• Start time: 9:00 AM
• Schedule: The race schedule is the same as above, followed by a picnic and an awards ceremony.

Awards Ceremony

• Event: Awards ceremony and team scoring at the Championship meet on October 25.
• Medals: The top 10 boys and girls in each race will receive a medal.
• Trophies: The top 3 boys and girls in each race receive a trophy.
• Team awards: The top boy and girl teams in each distance will also receive an award.
• Series awards: The top boy and girl in each age group for the series will receive an award.

Join Shore A.C.'s Gone Running XC Racing Team:

• Program dates: This program runs from Sept. 8 to Nov. 5.
• Included: By joining the club's Gone Running cross country team, you will receive 1 racing singlet, 6 racing opportunities, and 1-3 practice sessions per week for 8 weeks.
• Locations: Training locations are available in Manalapan, Middletown, and Manasquan.
• Coaches: Middletown head coaches Joe Compagni and Erin O'Neill will coordinate cross-country races.
• Training: Athletes who sign up for Option 3 will participate in Junior Olympics training on Saturdays in Manalapan and race in the State Championship in the fall.

Shore A.C./Gone Running Registration Options:

• Training locations: Available in Holmdel, Manalapan, Marlboro, Manasquan, and Chesterfield
• Registration option 1: 8 Practices, 6 Races, and Shore A.C. singlet: $175
• Registration option 2: 16 Practices, 6 Races, and Shore A.C. singlet: $255
• Registration option 3: 24 Practices, 6 Races, and Shore A.C. singlet: $355

Race on the fly:

• Cost: Register per race - $10

SUGGESTED RACES BY AGE/GRADE

• 400M: Ages 6 and under (Kindergarten and younger)
• 800M: Ages 7 - 8 (Grades 1 and 2)
• 2K: Ages 8 - 10 (Grades 3 and 4)
• 3K: Ages 10 - 12 (Grades 5 and 6)
• 4K: Ages 12 - 14 (Grades 7 and 8)

USATF STANDARDS

• 800M: Ages 6 and under
• 2K: Ages 7 and 8
• 3K: Ages 9 and 12
• 4K: Ages 13 and 14
• 5K: Ages 15+
