• Date: 2025-07-12
• Location: 1501 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL
• Course: Beautiful two-mile course through Washington Park
• Participants: Women and girls of all ages, from competitive runners to casual walkers

👩‍👧‍👦 Bring Your Friends and Family

• Who to Bring: Mothers, daughters, sisters, family members, colleagues, or friends
• Strollers: Welcome on the course
• Pets: Not permitted in the live race due to insurance liability restrictions
• Race Directors: Carrie Ward &: Melissa Wiseman

⚠️ Important Information

• Shirt Guarantee: Deadline for all participants is June 18
• Start Time: All participants in the 2-mile run/walk will start at 8 AM
• Refunds: No refunds: registrants will be converted to Virtual Race option if the live event cannot be held
• Finisher Area: Bottled water, bananas, and snacks available

🏆 Race Results & Awards

• Text Updates: Participants who opted in will receive a text message with their time shortly after crossing the finish line
• Results: Will stream live throughout the morning and be available at: www.ItsRaceTime.com
• Award Categories: Overall, Masters, and various age divisions from 14 &: under to 80+
• Awards: Will be available following the race: results online after all participants have finished

🎟️ Curbside Packet Pickup

• When: Friday (day before the race) at 3:00-6:00 PM
• Location: Springfield Running Center, 2943 W. White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL
• Pick Up: No need to exit your car: look for SRRC signs
• T-shirts: Guaranteed for those registered by the June 18 deadline

📅 Race Day Packet Pickup

• Time: Limited pickup available from 7:00-7:45 AM
• Location: Washington Park
• Forfeiture: Packets not picked up by race start will be forfeited
• No Shipping: No shipping option available

🌐 Virtual Race Information

• Participation: Run or walk your two miles wherever you choose
• Time Submission: Submit your time on this page starting on race day: Race Results
• Edit Time: Click EDIT TIME next to your name
• Note: Virtual participants will appear in race results but are not eligible for age group awards

👧 Kids' Fun Run

• Event Timing: Held immediately following the live 2-mile race
• Location: Start at the top of the hill near the finish line
• Eligibility: Children age 12 and under
• Prizes: All participants will receive a medal and treat bag
