👩‍🏫 In Memory of Ann Higginbotham

• Legacy: Ann Higginbotham, a life-long educator, passed away in September of 2016.
• Resilience: She fought ovarian cancer bravely, symbolizing strength and courage.
• Beneficiary: Proceeds will support students from Campbell County High School and Anderson County High School.
• Fund Purpose: All raised funds will go toward the Ann Higginbotham Memorial Scholarship Fund.

🎗️ Ovarian Cancer Awareness

• Awareness Goal: This event aims to promote ovarian cancer awareness within the community.
• Health Message: Ovarian cancer is often undetected until advanced stages, making awareness crucial.

🕖 Event Schedule

• On Site Registration: 7:00 am to 8:15 am.
• 5K Race Start: 8:30 am.
• Fun Walk Start: Approximately 8:35 am, after the 5K.

🏞️ Course Details

• Starting Point: Begins at Anderson County High School parking lot facing Charles G. Seivers Boulevard.
• Course Route: Up and down course running 1.5 miles toward Clinton Physical Therapy Center.
• Course Challenge: Known for its challenging terrain, it’s appropriately deemed a BEAST.

🏆 Awards Format

• Overall Awards: 1 deep M/F Overall, 1 deep M/F Master-Grandmaster-Veteran.
• Age Group Awards: 3 deep M/F for each age group: 1-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
