Purpose of the Event

• Support: Proceeds will support the Campbell Culture Coalition ArtReach program in local elementary schools.
• Festival Costs: Funds will also cover costs for artists at the annual Louie Bluie Festival in September.

Packet Pick-Up

• Time: Day of race packet pick-up begins at 7:00 am.
• Items: Participants will receive a bib, safety pins, and a t-shirt.
• Shirt Guarantee: Guaranteed if registered before March 15th.
• Size Availability: Inquire about shirt size if registering after March 15th.

Awards

• Categories: Top 3 Overall M/F, Top Masters M/F, Top Grandmaster M/F.
• Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Team Award: Largest Team.
• Claiming Awards: Awards must be claimed at the event: they will not be mailed.

Race Series

• Race Series: The Friends of Cove Lake have established a Campbell County Race Series.
• Number of Races: The Louie Bluie Rabbit Run is the first of seven races in the series.

Course Description

• Type: Out and Back
• Scenery: Along the beautiful scenic paved trail at Cove Lake State Park.

Refreshments

• Post-Race: Light refreshments will be provided.

Race Etiquette

• Restrictions: Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed.
• Walkers: Walkers are welcome!
• Course Closure: The 5K course closes in 1 hour, 15 minutes.
