NORRIS ULTRA DAM HARD TRAIL RACE

DATE TIME PLACE:

• Date: Saturday morning, November 1, 2025.
• Time: 8:00am.
• Location: Norris Dam State Park, Norris, TN.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

• Trails: Both race options will take place on single track trails and jeep roads.
• Course Lengths: The 25k course has one loop: the 50k course has two loops.
• Support: Multiple aid stations accessible by road for spectators.
• Time Limits: 25k - 4:40, 50k - 9 hours, with specific halfway aid station requirements.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

• Camping: Norris Dam State Park has two campgrounds with water and electric hook-up.
• Cabins: Rustic and Deluxe Cabins are available at Norris Dam State Park.
• Nearby Lodging: Additional accommodations at Exit 122 at I-75 and Andersonville Hwy 61 junction.

REGISTRATION AND FEES:

• Preregistration Fees: Until June 30: 25k - $45, 50k - $65.
• Mid Registration Fee: July 1 - Sept 30: 25k - $55, 50k - $75.
• Late Registration Fee: After October 1: 25k - $70, 50k - $90.
• Discount: $5.00 discount for Knoxville Track Club members.

• Fee Structure: Different fees are shown on Runsignup that include processing fees.
• Net Cost: Your net cost is the same as listed.

TTT SERIES AWARDS:

• Awards: Top 3 in each division receive free race entries.
• Additional Prizes: Drawing for a pair of shoes sponsored by Runners Market.
• Membership Requirement: Must be a KTC member and volunteer to qualify for series awards.
• Holiday Party: Awards will be presented at the annual KTC Holiday Party in December.

T-SHIRTS:

• Special Edition: Limited edition shirts will be printed for the series.
• One Shirt Policy: One shirt per runner per season.
• Charity Focus: Minimizing extras will help donate to trail-friendly causes.

SPECIAL FINISHER AWARD:

• Deluxe Medal: Given to those who finish both the 25k and 50k.

SPECIAL SERIES AWARDS:

• Point System: Points awarded for overall finish and volunteerism.
• Grand Prize: Overall top performers receive valuable prizes from sponsors.
• Eligibility: Must be a KTC member and volunteer for series awards.

RESULTS:

• Availability: Results will be available on Runsignup.com and webscorer.com.

COURSE ETIQUETTE:

• Disqualification: Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to disqualification.
• Prohibitions: No headsets, earphones, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades or pets allowed.

SAFETY:

• Stations: Aid and water stations will be provided, but runners are urged to carry water.
• Medical Advice: Sensitive individuals should carry their own medication for insect stings.
• Training: Pre-race off-road training is strongly recommended.

SAFETY POLICY CLARIFICATION:

• Age Requirement: Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Pace Enforcement: Minimum pace of 18:00/mile will be enforced.
• Race Personnel: Each race will have a sweeper: slow runners may be removed.

DON'T TAKE A BIB IF YOU'RE NOT RUNNING:

• Safety Concern: Taking a bib means you're representing as a participant.
• Drop Out Protocol: Inform race officials if you need to drop out.
• Preserving Bib: Don't crunch or fold the bib: it is needed to record your time.

• Weather Monitoring: Conditions are monitored for safety prior to the event.
• Decision Making: Race Director can modify race plans based on weather.

• Refund Policy: No refunds or transfers are allowed due to weather changes.
