🏃‍♂️ NORRIS ULTRA DAM HARD TRAIL RACE

🕒 TIME & PLACE

• Race Start: 25k and 50k races start at 8:00am.
• Location: Starts/Finishes at the pavilion near the Tea Room - Google Maps link.
• Park: Norris Dam State Park, Norris, TN.

🌲 COURSE DESCRIPTION

• Trail Options: Both race options take place on single track trails and jeep roads in Norris Dam State Park and Norris Municipal Watershed.
• Loops: The 25k course goes one loop: the 50k course goes two loops.
• Aid Stations: Multiple aid stations accessible for spectators.
• Time Limits: 25k has a 4:40 time limit, 50k has a 9 hour limit: special conditions for 50k halfway aid station.

🏨 ACCOMMODATIONS

• Camping: Two campgrounds with water and electric hook-up and dump stations.
• Cabins: Rustic and Deluxe Cabins available.
• Lodging: Additional accommodations at Exit 122 at I-75 and Andersonville Hwy 61 junction.

💰 REGISTRATION AND FEES

• Fees: Registration fees as listed, KTC member discount accepted.

🏆 TTT SERIES AWARDS

• Free Entries: Top 3 in each division receive free race entries.
• Prize Drawing: Two runners will win a pair of shoes sponsored by Runners Market.
• Award Presentation: Awards presented at the annual KTC Holiday Party in December.
• Eligibility: Must be a KTC member and volunteer twice during the trail race season for series awards.

👕 T-SHIRTS

• Limited Edition: Special T-shirts printed for the series.
• One Shirt Per Runner: Each runner receives only one shirt per season to aid in donations to trail-friendly causes.

🥇 SPECIAL FINISHER AWARD

• Medals: Deluxe finisher's medal presented to all who complete the 25k and 50k races.

⚠️ COURSE ETIQUETTE

• Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to disqualification.
• Restrictions: No headsets, earphones, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades, or pets on the course.

🛡️ SAFETY

• Stations: Aid and water stations will be provided, but runners are urged to carry their own water.
• Medication: Runners sensitive to insect stings should carry their own medication.
• Pre-Race Training: It is recommended to do pre-race training off-road for experience.

📜 SAFETY POLICY CLARIFICATION

• Under 12: Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Pace Requirement: 18:00/mile minimum pace enforced moving forward.
• Sweeper Runners: Each race will have a sweeper: maintain pace to stay in the race.

🔖 DON'T TAKE A BIB IF YOU'RE NOT RUNNING

• Tracking Safety: Taking a bib implies you are running: if you drop out, notify race officials.
• Integrity: Do not fold or alter your bib: it must remain intact for timing purposes.
