About this race
Event Overview
5k family fun run/walk, with glow-in-the-dark theme. Race starts and ends at the Academy Building in Downtown Dallas and covers a mixture of trail and road surfaces.
Beneficiaries
- Proceeds: All the proceeds benefit a local non-profit, Christmas Cheer, that serves families in need in the Dallas area.
- Additional Support: This year we are giving a portion of the proceeds to a local breast cancer prevention organization.
Participant Perks
- Included Gear: 5k participants will receive a t-shirt, head lamp, glow stick, free drink ticket and a Domino's pizza.
- Costume Contest: There is also a costume contest with prizes for the best costumes in different categories.
