🏃‍♀️ Cascade Half Marathon & 10K

The races will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The Half Marathon, 10K, and 2-mile races run on a flat course on country roads, surrounded by scenic farmland.

🚰 Course Features

• Water & Toilets: There is water and toilets on the course.
• Early Start: There is an early option for those expecting to take longer than 2 1/2 hours to run the Half Marathon.
• Registration Limit: Participation is limited to the first 1,000 registered runners for all three races combined.
• Registration Payment: Day of race registration is an option, cash or check is preferred but we will have an option for credit card.

🏅 Awards & Prizes

All half & 10k finishers will receive a medal as they finish. Awards will be given to:

• Overall Winners: Male and female overall and masters winners in the Half Marathon and 10K.
• Age Group Wins: Three-deep for age group winners, per 10-year age category. No awards will be given for the 2-mile race.
• Early Starters: Early starters' results in the Half Marathon will not be considered for overall or age group awards.
• Random Prizes: There will also be many random prize giveaways from our generous sponsors ranging from yoga classes, hydration and fuel for your adventures, gift cards, socks, and hats!

🏠 Packet Pickup & Amenities

Packet pickup is in the junior high school gym, where race participants can relax, stretch, and stay warm. Families and friends can hang out in the gym, too.

• Coffee Cart: We will have a coffee cart on site courtesy of I-Jive coffee.
• Race Start/Finish: Since the race starts and finishes right in front of the gym, you can stay inside until the last minute!
• Post-Race Celebration: Afterward, you can celebrate your accomplishments in the school's cafeteria with hot soup, coffee from I-Jive, and freshly baked cookies!

🎓 Beneficiary

Proceeds from the race will benefit Cascade High School's track & field program, as well as provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the mid-Willamette Valley who wish to continue their education.

📋 Important Notes

• Stroller Policy: Strollers are allowed on the race course but please give an appropriate amount of space to the other runners. Dogs are not allowed on the race course.
• Schedule Change: The early start for the half marathon is now starting at 8:30 am due to requirements from the city in regards to flagging needs on the streets.
