Cascade Half Marathon & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: Sunday, January 19, 2025
• Location: Cascade High School, Turner, OR
• Courses: Half Marathon, 10K, and 2-mile races on flat country roads
• Limit: Participation is limited to the first 1,000 registered runners for all three races combined

💧 Course Amenities

• Facilities: Water and toilets available on the course
• Early Start: Option for those expecting to take longer than 2 1/2 hours to complete the Half Marathon
• Registration: Day of race registration is available, cash or check preferred
• Credit Card: Credit card option will also be available

🏅 Awards & Finishing Medals

• Medals: All half marathon and 10K finishers will receive a medal
• Awards: Given to male and female overall and masters winners, as well as three-deep for age group winners
• No Awards: No awards for the 2-mile race
• Random Prizes: Many random prize giveaways from sponsors, including yoga classes, hydration, and gift cards

🏫 Packet Pickup & Festivities

• Pickup Location: Junior high school gym for relaxation and warm-up
• Family & Friends: Families and friends can hang out in the gym
• Refreshments: Coffee cart on site courtesy of I-Jive coffee
• Post-Race Celebration: Celebrate with hot soup, coffee, and freshly baked cookies in the cafeteria

🎓 Beneficiary Information

• Purpose: Proceeds benefit Cascade High School's track & field program
• Scholarships: Provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors in mid-Willamette Valley

🚫 Course Regulations

• Strollers: Allowed on the race course with appropriate spacing
• Dogs: Not allowed on the race course

🕒 Important Notices

• Early Start Time: The early start for the half marathon is at 8:30 am
• City Requirements: Change due to flagging needs on the streets
