Stayton Fun Run

Since 1983 Stayton has been celebrating fitness and this family tradition on the 4th of July. Both the runs and walk of this annual event will take place on asphalt and cross-country surfaces. The courses are excellent for the competitive runner, fun runner and walker.

Event Highlights

• In conjunction with: Stayton’s 4th of July festival.
• Activities: Kid’s and Grand Parade, community dinner, band concerts, variety show, kid’s games, food booths, and a fantastic fireworks display.
• Post-race: Plenty of activities to enjoy after the race.
• Most Patriotic Runner: A chance to win a patriotic denali blanket valued at $130.

Race Details

• Date: July 4th, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m.
• Registration: Day of registration for timed results ends at 8:45 a.m.
• Ceremony: 8:30 a.m. Race Day Scout Flag Ceremony.
• Location: Starts at the Stayton Community Center – 500 W Burnett St. (Off 1st St.) Stayton is 15 miles east of Salem on Highway 22.

Fees

• Pre-registration: $15.00 per person if you register online before July 4th.
• Day of Race: $20.00 per person.
• Registration Time: Begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Stayton Community Center.
• Timed Results: Day of registration for timed results ends at 8:45 a.m.

Awards

• Included: Ribbons for top male and female finishers in five-year age-groups in the 5k and 10k races.
• Post-race fun: Stay to see who won the most patriotically dressed!
• What’s not included: High entry fees and fancy awards.
