The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai‘i’s annual Freedom Run/Walk brings together families, friends, and community members to raise awareness and support those impacted by epilepsy.

Freedom means freedom from stigma and fear around seizures — and we’re running (and walking!) together for a more informed, inclusive Hawai‘i.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday, August 2, 2026
• Location: Kailua High School — 451 Ulumanu Dr., Kailua, O‘ahu
• Check-in: 5:30 AM
• Start Time: 7:00 AM sharp

Choose Your Distance

• 10K & 5K Timed Run: chip-timed by Timeline Hawai‘i, $50 (includes race shirt for adults while supplies last 👕:)
• Youth 5K & 10K Timed Run: Ages 8–17, $25 (includes youth race shirt while supplies last 👕:)
• 1-Mile Awareness Walk: FREE • Open to all ages • Walk, stroll, skip, or roll—everyone is welcome!
• Event Shirt: Optional for the walk: $15 (while supplies last)
