🏃‍♂️ What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?

• Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
• Honor: We honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

• Location: John Paul Landing Park Environmental Education Center, 9950 Katy Hockley Road, Cypress, TX 77433
• Celebration: Join us for a Post Race Celebration from 1:30 - 4:00pm at World of Beer Towne Lake. Use your WOB Coupon to get one free Beverage, and enjoy a Silent Auction sponsored by SPRING CREEK AREA BLUE STAR MOTHERS TX18.
• Date: The event will take place on September 19, 2026.

• Distance: This is a 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) to walk or run this event.
• Accessibility: Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.

📝 Registration Information

• Day-of Registration: Yes, registration will open at 6:45 am the morning of the run.
• Online Registration: Online registration will remain open until race day registration is closed.
• Bib Number: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Front-line Position: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral (arrive early).

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Competition: The Largest First Responder Team will take home the Siller Cup!
• Categories: Awards will be given for Fastest FF, Fastest LEO, Fastest Active Duty Military, Fastest Veteran, and 1st places in various age categories.
• Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route and at the start/finish line.

👜 Event Guidelines

• Permitted Items: Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are permitted. Strollers and wheelchairs are also allowed.
• Personal Items: Please do not leave any personal items visible in your vehicle. All items should be stored securely at the owner's risk.

🤝 Fundraising and Donations

• Fundraising Goals: Your registration fee does not count toward the fundraising goal.
• Donation Process: Yes, donations will be accepted for 6 weeks after the event.
