GET READY HOUSTON!! The Tunnel to Towers 5k Run & Walk is coming to Cypress, TX for year four! Once again, we have partnered with Harris County Precinct 4 to bring together the communities that wholeheartedly support our FireFighters, Law Enforcement officers, and Military that have served in the past, present, and those who will also follow in their footsteps in the future. We honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and we thank YOU for coming together for this historical event in our little corner of the world to make a difference in the lives of those we have pledged to support.

🏃‍♂️ What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. We honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! This is a 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) to walk or run this event. Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.

📝 Registration Information

Day-of Registration: Yes. Registration will open at 7am the morning of the run on 9/6/2025.
Online Registration: Online registration will remain open until race day registration is closed.
T-shirts: Yes, all participants receive a race day T-shirt. Please register by 8/18 to guarantee that you receive a shirt.
Packet Pick Up: Packet pickups will be available the morning of the event outside the John Paul Landing Environmental Education Center located at 9950 Katy Hockley Road, Cypress, TX 77493.

📋 Race Day Essentials

Packet Pick-Up: Yes, someone else can pick up your packet for you with a copy of your registration receipt.
Bib Number: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
Awards: Yes, awards are based on firefighters, police or military running in gear.
Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route and at the start/finish line.

👷‍♂️ Medical & Safety

Medical Staff: Yes, there will be an Emergency Medical Service team available on-site.
Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also allowed.
Personal Items: Please do not leave any personal items visible in your vehicle.
Fundraising: Yes, we offer fundraising incentives each year: check out our latest in our Fundraising Guide.

💵 Donations and Fundraising

Fundraising Page: Yes! Once you are registered, you will be given directions to start your own fundraising page.
Registration Fee: Your registration fee does not count toward the fundraising goal.
