🏃‍♂️Moorpark Groundhog Day 5k/1M

Benefiting Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs, the Groundhog Day event consists of two events. Starting at the high school, the 5k is a fast, chip timed road race with an exciting finish at the beautiful Moorpark High School stadium. All ages and abilities are welcome.

🏅Event Details

• Location: 4550 Tierra Rejada Rd, Moorpark, CA
• Date: 2026-02-07
• Finisher Medals: All participants age 11 and under who complete the 5k will receive a finisher medal.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: There will also be a “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under which will be held on the track with finisher medals for all.

T-shirt & Registration

• T-shirt: Registration fees include a t-shirt for all runners (shirts are only guaranteed if you register by Sunday 1/25/26).

🎉Post-Race Festivities

Post-race festivities include the awards ceremony with age group medals plus refreshments, vendors, and a raffle of wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.
