Yorktown Battlefield 10-Mile Run & 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Date: Saturday, November 9, 2025
• 10-Mile Start: 9:00 a.m.
• 5K Start: 9:15 a.m.
• Entry Fee: Includes the MANDATORY National Park Admission Fee (7-Day Pass).

📅 Registration Information

• Packet Pickup: Race Day Pickup and Registration at York High School from 7:30 - 8:45 a.m.
• Registration Deadline: Closes November 9th, 2025 at 8:45 a.m.
• Sign-Up: RACE DAY SIGN-UP OKAY
• Refreshments: Pizza and refreshments available after the race.

🏆 Awards

• Top 3 Overall: Male and Female
• Top Master: Male and Female
• Age Group Winners: Male and Female categories (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over)
• Medals: Awarded to all 10-mile finishers.

🏞️ Course Information

• Course Type: Scenic run on Yorktown Battlefield tour roads.
• Scenery: Features woods, meadows, fields, and creeks.
• Starting Point: Begins at the historic Surrender Field.
• Course Details: Mostly flat with some rolling hills: out-and-back to the French Loop, finishing near York High School.

⏱️ Timing & Certification

• Traffic Closure: The course will be closed to all traffic during the race.
• Water Stops: Provided along the course.
• Timing Limit: Official timing ceases 2 hours and 10 minutes after the start.
• Certification: USATF Certified 10-Mile Course (VA-12072-RT)
