Driftless Distance Night

🎉 Event Overview

The Driftless Distance Project is hosting a distance night, under the lights at the Platteville high school track Saturday, July 19th, 2025! All proceeds from this event go to support our Driftless Distance Project and help us positively impact the sport of running! All levels of runners are welcome whether you are just looking for a group to run a 5k with, or you’re chasing a PR. This is a very unique event and a great opportunity to come out and have a great time! Even if you're not running, we would love for you to come out and support, hope to see you there!

🗓️ Date & Time

When: July 19th, 2025

• 6:00pm: Parking lot opens
• 7:30pm: Mile Walk
• 8:00pm: Open heat 5k (men and women together)
• 9:00pm: Seeded Women's Heat 1
• 9:30pm: Seeded Men's Heat 1
• 10:00pm: Seeded Women's Heat 2
• 10:30pm: Seeded Men's Heat 2

💰 Price Breakdown

• Mat 1st - May 31st: $15/entry
• June 1st - June 30th: $20/entry
• July 1st - July 18th: $25/entry
• T-Shirt: $20 upon sign up. Additional merchandise available at the event.

🏆 Awards

*in process of securing a prize purse for the elite field.*

• Trophies: Awarded to the top 3 overall finishers (Male and Female)
• Driftless T-shirt: Awarded to the overall male and female finisher of the open heat.
