5K RUN AND 1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK 8:00 AM JULY 26, 2025

🥇 Triple Crown Participation

• Event Sequence: 2nd Event of the 2025 Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running. 1st event - Spring Sprint, April 12th. 3rd event - Reindeer Run, December 7.
• Eligibility: Those participating in ALL THREE 5K events will be eligible for Triple Crown cash awards, door prizes and a special memento.
• Door Prizes: Even if you do not participate in ALL THREE events, you can still win door prizes worth a minimum of $50 if you join the Reindeer Run and at least one other event.
• Participation: Eligible for both the 5K Run or the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

📍 Race Location

The Scholars Run traditional race will be staged Saturday, July 26, 2025 - Cooper Athletic Center on the Maryville College Campus

🕒 Check-In and Race Time

• Check-In: 6:45-7:30 a.m. the day of the race.
• Race Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5K Run, 8:45 a.m. 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

📦 Pre-Race Package Pickup

Pre Race Package Pickup and Registration: July 24th, 5 to 7 pm. Dick's Sporting Goods in Hamilton Crossing 221 Hamilton Crossing Drive Alcoa, TN 37701

👕 T-Shirts

T-SHIRTS: All participants will receive an attractive, high-quality short sleeved unisex shirt! Shirt size guaranteed to those who pre-register. Anyone registering the day of the event will receive a shirt while supplies last.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Awards Ceremony: Stage an awards ceremony on-site after the event.
• Claiming Awards: Any award not claimed will be available at the Parks and Rec Office located at 316 South Everett High Road Maryville, TN 37804 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
• Categories: Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group and to the top male/female overall and Masters winners in the 5K.
• Participation Gifts: All Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a participation gift.

⚠️ General Information

GENERAL INFORMATION: No bicycles, roller blades or dogs are allowed on the course or to be used by any participant during the race. The use of headsets is not recommended due to traffic on race route.

🥤 Refreshments

Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be available immediately following the race for all registered participants.
