🎆 Pleasant Mount Firecracker 5K Overview

Boy Scout Troop 407 is planning the 12th Annual Pleasant Mount Firecracker 5K Race!

🎖️ Event Purpose

• Annual Fundraiser: This event supports scouts' participation at summer camp.
• Development Focus: The camp aids in physical, social, and mental development.
• Community Contribution: Scouting plays a key role in developing future community leaders.
• Accessibility: We work to support families facing prohibitive camp costs.

🇺🇸 Fourth of July Celebration

• Race Timing: The Firecracker 5K kicks off the Independence Day festivities.
• Community Connection: Join us for a holiday parade followed by celebrations.
• Small Town Spirit: Experience the heart and soul of Pleasant Mount, PA.
• Event Format: Participants may run or walk the course.

⏰ Race Details

Participants must complete the event within one hour as the parade follows immediately after.

Start Time: Our race will start promptly at 7:30 am, on Friday, July 4th.

Professional Timing: We are using a professional timer - Finish Strong Timing, LLC.

💰 Registration and Fees

• Early Bird Pricing: $20 per participant until May 30th.
• Standard Pricing: $25 per participant from May 31st to June 15th.
• Late Registration: $30 per participant after June 15th.
• Deadline: Register online until July 3rd at 12pm!

👶 Children Registration

Children 10 and under are FREE and can register online.

Shirt Guarantee: To be guaranteed a commemorative race T-shirt, you must register AND select your shirt size by June 20, 2025.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be presented as follows:

• 5K Participants: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for each age category.
• Overall Finishers: Awards for Male and Female.
• Age Categories: Various age groups with awards available.
