"IRISH" I Was Faster

Do you feel warm, heroic, accomplished? All of the above and more? The IRISH I Was Faster will help you get that good tired feeling and generate a sense of selflessness. As runners and walkers, we know that sports keeps us healthy and teaches us many life lessons. YOU can support young people to stay healthy and learn important life lessons through sports.

Purpose of the Race

Funds from this race will be used to provide for team needs such as gear, uniforms, equipment, and the HUDL system so that they have the tools needed to be successful to excel in the sport they are participating in.

Race Route

This race will take you around the Imlay City Schools from the high school where the athletes spend their school day as well as the Middle School, Weston St. Elementary, and Borland Elementary. The route will also take you through the baseball grounds, track, and football field. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to see the grounds and buildings that you are providing support for.

Race Experience

Most people struggle with the amount of races to choose from: at the IRISH, our fun and welcoming volunteers ensure your anxiety on race day is only those pre-race jitters. At the IRISH, you will feel like you are competing in your own hometown.
