Somerville 5K Road Race

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Somerville Homeless Coalition is excited to announce our 30th Annual Somerville 5K Road Race on Saturday, October 4th! Join us as we get ready to run, walk, and stroll through the heart of Davis Square to raise support and awareness for our most vulnerable neighbors. Last year over 500 friends, family, and supporters turned out and took to the streets to help end homelessness, hunger, and eviction.

📅 Race Day Details

• Start: 9:00AM (rain or shine) - race starts on the hour!
• Entry Fees:
  • Before September 19: Early Bird and FREE Race Tee - $35, $30 for kids
  • From September 20: Normal & Day of Registration - $40, $30 for kids
• Registration & Check-In: On race day 7:30AM - 8:30AM
• Location: Registration, start, finish, and awards ceremony take place behind Republic Gym at the end of the Bike Path near Highland Avenue and Grove Street in Davis Square.

Course: Urban, varied terrain, arrows at all turns, mile markers, 5K (3.1 miles). Click here to view the course map!

Results: Professional, computerized CHIP TIMING and results by Spitler Race Systems.

• Early Bird Discount and Tee: Free Somerville 5K t-shirts if registered by 9/19
• Individual Fundraisers: T-shirt and free registration if you raise $250+ by race weekend!
• Fundraising Teams: T-shirt and free registration if your TEAM (max. 5) raise $500+ by race weekend.

• Details on t-shirt pick-up will be e-mailed at a later date. T-Shirt distribution will begin the week of 9/29.
