Event Overview
- Event Purpose: This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Shawnee Mission School District staff and their family members.
- Eligibility: This event is closed to the general public.
- Participants: All SMSD staff members and their immediate families are invited. Children 8 years of age and up are allowed to register for the 5K event.
- Children's Participation: Children under 8 are allowed to participate in the 5K, but must be with an adult at all times while on the race course. Strollers are welcome.
Race Details
- Location: Start and finish line is in the Shawnee Mission South stadium with a 5K route on the Indian Creek Trail.
- Pre-Race Activities: Pre-race activities start at 8:45am.
- Race Start Time: Race starts at 9:00am.
- Post-Race Fun: Stay after the 5K for family fun, healthy lifestyle vendor booths and prize giveaways.
Registration Information
- Individual Registration: All SMSD staff members should complete an individual registration so your building participation is counted.

- Free Event: This event is free, but we encourage donations to the Shawnee Mission Education Foundation.
