🎉 Event Overview
This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Shawnee Mission School District staff and their family members.
This event is closed to the general public.
👨👩👧 Who Can Participate?
- Eligibility: All SMSD staff members and their immediate families are invited.
- Children: Children 8 years of age and up are allowed to register for the 5K event.
- Participation: Children under 8 are allowed to participate in the 5K, but must be with an adult at all times while on the race course.
- Strollers: Strollers are welcome.
🗺️ Race Details
- Location: Start and finish line is in the Shawnee Mission South stadium with 5K route on the Indian Creek Trail.
- Schedule: Pre-race activities start at 8:45am. Race starts at 9:00am.
- Post-Race: Stay after the 5K for family fun, healthy lifestyle vendor booths and prize giveaways.
- Registration: All SMSD staff members should complete an individual registration so your building participation is counted.
