Shawnee Mission School District Staff 5K Walk/Run

🎉 Event Overview

This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Shawnee Mission School District staff and their family members.

This event is closed to the general public.

👨‍👩‍👧 Who Can Participate

• Eligibility: All SMSD staff members and their immediate families are invited.
• Children's Registration: Children 8 years of age and up are allowed to register for the 5K event.
• Underage Participation: Children under 8 are allowed to participate in the 5K, but must be with an adult at all times while on the race course.
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome.

🏁 Race Details

• Start/Finish: Start and finish line is in the Shawnee Mission South stadium with 5K route on the Indian Creek Trail.
• Pre-Race Activities: Pre-race activities start at 8:45am.
• Race Start: Race starts at 9:00am.
• Post-Race Activities: Stay after the 5K for family fun, healthy lifestyle vendor booths and prize giveaways.

📝 Registration Information

All SMSD staff members should complete an individual registration so your building participation is counted.
