📍 Location

• Venue: NM Museum of Natural History and Science
• Address: 1801 Mountain Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM US 87104
• Note: Due to construction at the Museum, the event will take place at Tiguex Park, directly south of the NM Museum of Natural History and Science.

🏃‍♂️ Race Description

Register today for the 6th Annual TyRUNnosaurus 5K, Kids 1-Mile, 1-Mile Family Walk, and Kids K scheduled for September 21, 2025, to benefit the Museum of Natural History Foundation to advance the cultural and scientific programs and purposes of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. The Foundation’s objectives are to receive, raise, and administer funds for the benefit of the Museum and to provide the Museum with a broad base of community support. Enjoy this flat and fast-looped course through the historic Sawmill District and Historic Old Town. 🕒 Event Schedule

• Date: September 21, 2025
• Inflatable Costume Dash: 8:45 a.m.
• 5K Run/Walk: 9:00 a.m.
• Kids K: 9:45 a.m.
• KIDS 1-Mile: 10:00 a.m.
• FAMILY 1-Mile Walk: 10:00 a.m.

🎽 Runner Packet Pickup

• Date: September 20, 2025
• Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Location: HEART AND SOLE SPORTS, 2817 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110
• Note: Late registrations for all events are available on race day and at Packet Pickup.

🅿️ Parking

Please use designated parking areas only. Do not park on roads and sidewalks or pedestrian bike paths.

🚻 Bathroom Facilities

Bathrooms are available near the start/finish.

🏁 Finish Information

All participants will finish at Tiguex Park across from the NM Museum of Natural History. The overall and division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day – immediately following the Kids K.

📜 Race Requirements

Each participant will receive a Race (Bib/Timing Chip) number that must be worn on race day. DO NOT alter your race number in any way. Your bib number must be visible and worn on the front outside of all clothing during the entire race to be seen. Bib numbers are nontransferable and MUST be worn by the runner to whom it is assigned.

🎧 Electronic Devices

• Headphones: Yes, participants may use headphones.
• GPS Devices: Yes, participants may wear GPS devices, but they will not count as official timing.
• Prohibited Devices: The use of cell phones, cameras, and other devices is prohibited, except for headphones with one earpiece.

👶 Strollers and Baby Joggers

Baby joggers and strollers are allowed during the race. Participants must ensure that they do not impede other runners.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

Weather forecasts will be monitored before the event. If necessary, athletes will be made aware of severe weather predictions via email and announcements at the race’s starting line.

🚑 Medical Support

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Participants who appear distressed or at risk may be withdrawn from the race for safety.

🏅 Post-Race

Post-race refreshments will be held near the finish. Results will be posted immediately after the event near the finish as well as online at www.irunfit.org.

All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and participant medal. Additionally, runners/walkers participating in the TyRUNnosaurus 5K Run/Walk in 2025 can enjoy a 10% discount on the Family Plus Membership from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation.
